Ghana's Fly weight boxer Duke Micah has recorded his first win against his Mauritius opponent Jaso Lavigilnate by 18-14 on points at the ExCel Arena on Monday in the round of 32.
Micah became the first boxer to win his fight in the games after boxer Isaac Dogbe and judoka Emmanuel Nartey all failed to progress in their various fights.
The Ghanaian amateur boxer dominated all three rounds with alacrity.The scores were (6-4)(7-6)(5-4)to progress to the next stage of the competition
The 20year old Micah now faces Ireland's Michael Conlan on August 3, in the round of 16
