Madam Gladys Akosua Kani Antwi aka Mrs Apau Awuku was born in 1956 at Apirede in Akuapim in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The sad event occurred on January 7, 2022, while on admission at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
Mourners:
Nana Saforo Okoampa Okogyehene Otoamfom III (Chief of Apirede), Nana Kwaku Ogyiri Manu II (Amankrado of Apirede), Nana Ama Odi (Queen mother of Apirede), Nana Ama Okyerewaa (Ankobeahene of Apirede), and Opanyin Kofi Okoampa (Gyaasehene of Apirede). The others include; Abusuapanyin Afro Manu (Anwagyiri), Abusuapanyin Kwame Fio, Abusuapanying Kwasi Mante, and Abusuapanyin Kofi Mante all of Abitaase. Also, Obaapanyin Abena Twumwa, Obaapanyin Akua Odi, Omama Kwasi Koranteng, Nana Kwasi Osabarima, Opanyin Yaw Kokora, Okyeame Kwame Amoako, and Abusuapanyin Kwame Nyamekye.
Children:
Alice Antwiwa Apau, Augustina Mantebea Apau, and Mariam Manubea Apau Okai.
Grand Children:
Richmond Frimpong Boateng, Bryan Selassie Awudi, Emmanuel Amankwa Boateng, and Jehu Apau Boateng.
In-laws:
Solomon Selassie Awudi and Emmanuel Amankwa Okai.
Funeral Arrangement:
Laying in state and burial is on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Apirede in Akuapim in the Eastern Region. The final funeral rite will take place at the funeral ground at Anwagyiri, Apirede after burial.
