Former Communications Director at the Presidency in the Mills administration, Koku Anyidoho, has been appointed as President John Mahama's special aide with the national security.
The President’s appointment of Mr Anyidoho comes barely 24 hours after he appointed former BBC Presenter Ben Dotsei Malor as Head of Communications at the Presidency as well as his Communications Adviser.
Mr Anyidoho has been operating with National Security since President John Mills died.
XYZ News reports their sources say Mr Anyidoho's appointment will put to rest rumours of frosty relations between him and the President.
With his new appointment, Mr Anyidoho, who was seen as the right hand man of late President Mills, is expected to be working closely with President Mahama at the Flagstaff house.
Mr Anyidoho is expected to bring his experience under the Mills administration to bear on the Mahama administration.
