President John Dramani Mahama has urged closer trade and investment cooperation between Ghana and Grenada, describing it as mutually beneficial for both nations.
The President made the call when he received Grenada’s Prime Minister, Dickon Mitchell, at the Jubilee House during his two-day state visit to Ghana.
Prime Minister Mitchell was accorded a warm reception, including a guard of honor, symbolizing the strong diplomatic ties between the two countries.
During bilateral discussions, President Mahama emphasised the need to deepen collaboration in key sectors such as health, energy, agriculture, and tourism.
He further encouraged African and Caribbean businesses to explore investment opportunities in Ghana, particularly under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), headquartered in Accra.
