KWAME NKRUMAH INSPIRED CITIZENS MOVEMENT CONGRATULATES PRESIDENT MAHAMA
The Kwame Nkrumah Inspired Citizens Movement wishes to congratulate the President on his winning the December 7, 2012 elections and his subsequent assumption of the High Office of the Land as President of the Republic of Ghana.
We wish to convey our heart-felt gratitude to the millions of Ghanaians who went out there to vote to ensure that he became the President.
As a nation still battling with a lot of fundamental problems ranging from education, health, food, housing and employment, our wish, as a Movement, is to see a society full of joy where no one has any anxiety about work, food and shelter.
For this reason, the Movement is pleading with the President, His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama to revisit the Seven Year Development Plan which Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah commissioned and worked with until he was overthrown in the coup detat of 24th February, 1966. The abandonment of the Plan after his overthrown, has derailed Ghana’s journey to Economic Independence and Progress.
It is our believe that if Ghana should be seen as getting back on its track to economic freedom, we must take a holistic view of the Seven Year Development Plan and to fully implement the policies and programmes contained in it which would enable us to lay a strong foundation on which we can build on for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
We wish the President well in Office and ask for God’s blessings for him as well as entreat all Ghanaians to keep praying for our nation.
God bless our homeland, Ghana and make our Nation greater and stronger.
Signed:
Charles Amoah

Stephen Kwabena Attu
