Mr. Ofori Amanfo said the hospital served people from Mampong, Pru, Atebubu, Nkoransa and Offinso Districts. He stated that it’s only source of revenue is internally generated through the national health insurance scheme. He said the hospital had four Ghanaian doctors, two Cuban doctors, four anaesthetics and one Medical Assistant, adding that this is not enough. He however added that the facility can boast of a modern laboratory and theatre, a back-up generator, water system and a physiotherapy department. Mr Ofori Amanfo called on the government and other stakeholders to help the hospital with resources to enable it to provide quality health care to the communities. Source: GNA
