A resident of Accra, Benjamin Kofi Ofosu is the proud winner of a Hyundai i20 saloon car being the first prize in the RAID-2-for-More-Promotion.
Mr Ofosu sounded extremely excited as he screamed with joy when he was informed on phone of his luck.
The draw that was held at the Rawlings Park in the Accra Central Business District also saw Samuel Anokye of Mamponteng in Kumasi and Elizabeth Nimako of Accra as the second and third prize winners respectively. The second winner gets a return ticket to New York while the third person won an LG Home Theatre.
Thousands of RAID customers won various prizes ranging from flat screen, blenders, DVD players, Video Recorders, food processors, toasters, umbrellas, T-shirts and many other interesting prizes totalling GH¢300,000.
Brand Manager for SC Johnson, Hafsa-Rimantha Arthur said the promotion was initiated to induce purchases and trial of the new RAID Multi-purpose Insect Killer, which was re-staged in response to consumer feedback.
“The new product is very effective in killing mosquitoes instantly, has a convenient spray-through cap, leaves no oily residue on surfaces and has a pleasant smell.”
