Gordon Igesund has recalled Bafana Bafana's record scorer Benni McCarthy for Friday's friendly with Brazil following an injury to Edward Manqele.Sundowns hitman Manqele pulled a hamstring in a 2-0 defeat to Maritzburg United in the Premiership on Sunday, with McCarthy - who has 31 international goals - benefiting from the ex-Free State Stars man's misfortune.Manqele was originally selected as a replacement for Moroka Swallows ace Siyabonga Nomvethe, who tore ligaments in his big toe in a 3-0 rout of Orlando Pirates on Saturday night.SuperSport United midfielder George Maluleka has also been called up following an injury to star playmaker Steven Pienaar. The Everton man pulled a thigh muscle in a 2-0 loss to West Brom in the Premier League on Saturday.Right-back Anele Ngcongca has likewise been ruled out.
