The Ghana Football Association has announced that the purchase process for the 2008/9 Glo Premier League radio media rights has been extended.
In view of the decision, the FA invites interested parties to express and register their interest by December 31 to run live radio commentaries. The process was originally closed on December 18.
A statement signed by Kofi Nsiah, General Secretary of the FA, said, radio stations, individuals and organizations interested in running live commentaries must contact the head office of the Ghana Football Association in Accra for the agreement forms.
With the elite league being its flagship competition, the media rights for the Glo Premier League will be opened to all to project the competition across multiple platforms.
Meanwhile, the GFA on Tuesday announced a new five-year sponsorship deal with new telecommunication company, Glo Mobile Ghana, as title sponsor for the premier league.
A $3 million deal was signed for the first year of the deal with an upward increment expected for the remaining four years of the agreement.
