Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo netted his fourth goal of the season over the weekend as Elfsborg suffered defeat in the Swedish Allsvekan.
Baidoo scored the lone goal for his side as they lost 2-1 to GAIS on Sunday.
The midfielder started his ninth game of the season in the league as he looked to continue his good start to the campaign.
Axel Henriksson scored the opening goal of the game in the fourth minute before adding a second 14 minutes later to take his side ahead into the break.
Baidoo scored just before the halftime break to make it 2-1.
Attempts to score get the equaliser after the recess proved unsuccessful as GAIS claimed all three points.
With his goal over the weekend, Baidoo has now been involved in six goals in nine goals in the league this season, scoring four and setting up two.
