Government, Employers and Organised Labour are facing some challenges in agreeing on the new daily minimum wage before the May 1 deadline.
Joy Business has learnt the three parties on Wednesday April 24 failed to meet to finalise discussion on the new minimum wage.
Joy Business sources have said whiles Organised Labour is now proposing an 18 percent increase over the 2012 minimum wage of 4 cedis 48 pesewas, Government and Employers are prepared to pay a 15 percent increase.
Joy Business has gathered that Organised labour wants to use the increase as benchmark for salary adjustments this year.
