Interior Minister Martin Amidu was heckled in Parliament on Friday after he failed to provide answers to a question.
The MP for Ofoase-Ayirebi David Oppon-Kusi asked the minister the status of a case involving the alleged diversion of 600 bags of cocoa meant for export.
According to the MP the matter, which was reported to the Western Regional Minister and the police command, occurred in January this year. However the minister’s response rather referred to a similar case that occurred in June 2006, prompting protests by the Minority.
