The Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Sports Mr. Kwame Ampofo-Twumasi, has made a donation of five million cedis (GHc500) and two footballs to Nkoranzaman United Football Club.
Mr. Johnson Affum, Manager of the club told GNA Sports at Nkoranza that the club had qualified to participate in the Division One football league this year and the gesture was opportune as the team was feverishly preparing for the competition.
He commended the Deputy Minister who is the Member of Parliament for Nkoranza South Constituency for his continued support to the club.
The Manager recalled that Mr. Ampofo-Twumasi made a similar presentation of a set of jerseys and two footballs to the club last year, which greatly helped them in their preparations.
Mr. Affum appealed to other resident and non-resident citizens of the area to also lend support to enable the club improve on its performance.
