Miracle Wave International limited have launched a peace campaign with the aim of advocating for a peaceful general election 2016 in Ghana on Wednesday.
The campaign is designed purposely to promote the need to preserve the peace of this nation before and after the election.
The campaign is expected to run from the launch date 29th June, 2016 to the end of 31st October, 2016 ahead of the election date.
The launch brought together stakeholders who have played and continue to make salient impact in the peace building initiatives of our dear nation Ghana.
The National Peace Council, the National media commission, the Christian Council of Ghana, the Muslim Council, the Traditional Authorities, the security services and the Media community in Ghana.
There will be major activities in the course of the peace crusade and amongst them will be a two day 1 Ghana peace cup gala at the Accra sports stadium which will feature eight teams from different sectors and will include: The parliamentary of the Republic of Ghana, the
Christian council, the Muslim Council, the National House of Chiefs, the Ghana Police Service, the Media, the Movie and Music Industry and the senior national soccer side the black stars. The games are meant for the peace campaign to calm tension as the Ghana head to the poll
Speaking at the launch was the executive chairman of Unisex Ghana Limited and MW international, Most Rev. Dr Daniel Markin who urged all Ghanaians to continue to foster the savory moments the country has enjoyed since independence in the upcoming general elections.

“This election should become a blessing not a burden,” Rev. Dr Daniel Markin said. “so I entreat all Ghanaians and political parties that the nation is all we have and we should focus on maintaining the peace that has existed since the country gained independence.”
Dr. Markin said again reiterated that “the media should be partial in their reportage because you (the media) are the vanguard of peace in the upcoming election.”
The successful implementation of this peace campaign will enhance the political stability of our country. Undoubtedly the political stability of every nation is the greatest asset that nation needs for survival and development.
