Mobus Properties has cemented its place as one of the leading developers in the country by scooping four top industry awards at the African & Arabian Property Awards.
The company has been recognised by the International Property Awards across a range of categories including: Best Office Development, Best Residential Multiple Units Development and Best Mixed used Development.
The recently started Phoenix Villas, located at East Legon, won the five star award for ‘Development Multiple Units category in Ghana’.
Capital Place, Ghana’s first office park in the heart of Airport residential Area in Accra was another of the big winners; winning in the five star category ‘best Office Development’. The development consist of three offices, each approx. 2000 sq meters.
Kinight Court, the exclusive 20 unit apartment development in cantonments, was also highly commended in the ‘Development Multiple Units category’, for the modern, yet classic design.
Also collecting five star honours was Meridian City’ website, www.meridiancity.com.gh, for best mixed use development. Meridian City is a mixed use project set for construction next year in Tema and comprises of a retail mall, a hotel and office block. It will be the first privately funded mixed use development in Ghana and will add to the competitiveness of Tema as a world class port city.

The International Property Awards are one of the most highly sought-after prizes in the real estate industry, recognising the very best quality and delivery across the market. The awards were presented during a VIP gala dinner at the One & Only Royal Mirage in Dubai.

Mobus Properties, was established in 2011, as a private residential and commercial developer in Ghana. Since then, Mobus Properties has expanded rapidly in Accra and in Abuja, Nigeria with plans to expand further across the region.

The International Property Awards are open to residential and commercial property professionals from around the globe.
Since 1995, they have celebrated the highest levels of achievement by companies operating in all sectors of the property and real estate industry. The awards are split into regions covering Africa, Asia Pacific, Arabia, Canada, Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, UK and USA. The highest-scoring winners from each region are automatically entered into the overall International Awards, which ultimately determine the world’s finest properties and real estate professionals.
The African Property Awards are part of the long established International Property Awards, the world’s richest competition when measured by the value of the projects entered.
The judging panel consists of approximately 70 professionals including Andrew Panting, Director of Operations for the British Property Federation, Peter Bolton King, Global Residential Director of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS); and Christian Morris, Director / Owner of architectural firm Yotomo Ltd.
This year’s winners were presented their awards during a VIP gala dinner at the One & Only Royal Mirage in Dubai on the 24th of October 2013.
