With a heavy heart and in total submission to the will of God, the heads of the Sam family would like to regretfully announce the death of their beloved family member, former Public Affairs Manager of the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), Mr Albert Sam.
The Columnist passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at the Greater Accra Regional emergency clinic after a short ailment.
Mr Sam played a significant role in the journalism industry as he published lots of informative, intriguing and educative articles at Graphic before he retired at age 60.
He also served as the member of the New Times Corporation (NTC) Board of Director before meeting his unexpected death.
Due to Mr Sam’s jovial personality, he continued to cheer and crack up his fellow colleague journalists both retired and serving at the recent Ghana International Press Centre on March 2, 2021, during Ghana’s Covid19 vaccination exercise.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
One week celebration: Friday, April 9, 2021, at the Methodist Church, Calvary Society.
Time: 7 am to 8:30 am.
Location: SSNIT Flat site B, Community 3, Tema (opposite COCOBOD).
Details of final funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
