Sams Productions in collaboration with Multi TV will stage an exclusive season of theatre productions to afford theatre fans the opportunity to enjoy a series of plays throughout the end of October.
Sams Productions in collaboration with Multi TV will stage five different African plays as part of celebrations marking five years of Sams Production theatre performances.
The five plays are the Trial of Jerry John Rawlings, Akpaka Land, the Sudden Return, Money and Politics Waawaa, and Galaxy of the Comedy.
According to the national coordinator of the event, Musa Saddat Abubakar, the productions are aimed at reviving the spirit of theatre in the country.
He said the performances will also rejuvenate the theatre industry in the country and create employment for the youth.
The first five performances will take place at the amphitheatre of the University of Ghana, Legon, before the start of a nationwide tour.
The plays will feature new great actors such as Delong Forster of Stars of the Future fame and talented actors from the University of Ghana.
