One of Ghana’s top music producers, Jay Q, has released a new song titled 'Gbelewu', this time not just as a producer but also as the performer of the vocals.
Gbelewu is an Afrobeats track that blends traditional African rhythms with contemporary production. The self-produced single talks about emotional detachment and self-preservation.
The lyrics reference the philosophy of seeing, hearing and speaking no evil, while acknowledging humanity’s capacity for harm.
Gbelewu showcases Jay Q’s production skills alongside his introspective songwriting.
