The former Minister of Public Sector Reform and Convention People's Party (CPP) Member of Parliament for Komenda-Edina-Aguafo-Abrem in the Central Region, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, has left the shores of Accra for United States of America for a number of speaking engagements.
According to a news release, Dr. Nduom would make his first stop at EBUSUA Club of California to address the club at its Jubilee dinner dance.
The release stated further that the event will commemorate ten years of the club's existence and Ghana's 50th Independence anniversary.
The statement stated that the MP will be addressing Ghanaians on his future in politics and how Ghanaians can become free and prosperous.
Dr. Nduom who recently resigned his portfolio as Minister of Public Sector Reform after serving in other ministries in the President John Kufuor-led government, will be speaking to a group of Ghanaians and Americans in Atlanta on his vision for Ghana in the 21st Century.
"He will meet African-American leaders in Atlanta to discuss how to forge a relationship to increase investment flow into Ghana. Next, he will be hosted by friends and former business colleagues in the New Jersey," said the release.
According to the release, on Saturday the 25th there will be a major event hosted by citizens for a better Ghana in the greater Washington DC area where Dr. Nduom will be speaking about the 2008 elections and his participation.
He is expected to answer questions about the CPP and prospects for winning the 2008 elections.
He will also address meeting of professional groups and Ghanaians in the New York before he returns to Ghana.
