Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom’s nationwide tour which took him to the Eastern, Western and Central Regions has ended. He was welcomed by people from all walks of life including market women, drivers and the youth. Dr. Nduom was accompanied by some members of the national executive, the regional and constituency executives on his tour of the three regions. The 2nd Vice Chairman of the CPP, Mr. Kwamena Brenyarko accompanied the CPP presidential candidate to some of the Central Regional tours. National Chairman, Ladi Nylander who could not make the entire Central Region tour, however met Dr. Nduom's team at Mankessim. The party's first National Vice Chairman, Dr. Abu Sakara who accommpanied Dr. Nduom in his Northern Regional tour, was also part of the Nduom entourage during the Western Regional tour. CPP executives in the Western, Central and Eastern Regions were also part of the Nduom team. The team visited Krobo Odumasi, Asesewa, Dodowa, Nkawkaw, Koforidua and Nkawkaw during their tour of the Eastern Region. The tour of the Central Region included visits to Abura Dunkwa, Assin Fosu, Kasoa, Agona Nyakrom, Agona Swedru and Mankessim with Tarkwa, Shama, Axim, Nkroful, Agona Nkwanta and Apataim completing the Western Regional tour. His approach to campaigning has been described as not only a novelty in Ghanaian politics, but also offers an indication of the reverence that the CPP's presidential candidate has for all stakeholders in the Ghanaian politics. In all the three regions, Dr. Nduom visited major market centres, lorry parks and the leadership of the GPRTU. The gestures of the market women, the youth, mostly unemployed, and drivers of these areas suggest a bunch of youthful enthusiasts yearning for change and anytime Dr. Nduom's speech touched on their desire for change, they responded with clinched fists and enthusiastic response. The common slogan on the mouths of almost all those who attended Dr. Nduom's addresses in the three regions was that of “change” and it was largely echoed and re-enacted at the main market centres and lorry parks in the Western and Central Regional towns that Dr. Nduom visited. Tamale, the Northern Region capital, once a strong constituency of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) was one of the stopovers of .Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom when he toured the Northern Region. Other places included Mion, Yendi, Saboba, Chereponi and Damongo. He used the occasion to interact with key stakeholders in Ghanaian politics.
