It is with great pride and joy that I send you this message of congratulations. Both Yvonne and I wish to acknowledge the accomplishments you have worked for since your ordination as a Priest in the Catholic Church in 1975.
Your appointment as the Head of the Vatican’s Justice and Peace Council, by Pope Benedict XVI, a position which we understand you have accepted with great humility, is great encouragement not just to Ghanaians but to all Africans.
It is unfortunate that this appointment will take you away from us to the Vatican City in Italy. However, we do hope that you will remember us in your prayers as we do the same for you. We wish you more success as we pray that the Lord gives you more wisdom and guidance.
Very truly yours,
Papa Kwesi Nduom
