Glorious Hearts of Oak made amends from their shocking 3-0 home loss to Wall All Stars two weeks ago at the Accra Sports Stadium to record a crucial 0-1 win over Aduana Stars in Dormaa on Saturday.
Eric Kumi's 57th minute goal made the difference at the Agyemang Badu Park as it handed Hearts of Oak their first win in their last four games.
The Managing Director of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mr. Neil Armstrong Mortagbe believes the win over Aduana signifies better things to happen to the club after had gone through difficult times after the sacking of coach David Duncan last.
“To go to Dormaa to win is not an easy task, our last four games have been very difficult ones for us the players were under pressure but they have responded well to the pressure and we congratulate them for that, said Neil.
The away win comes as a boost to coach Mohammed Polo, who had come under severe pressure from fans following a string of poor results meanwhile this results comes after 78 days of winless streak
