Credible information available to Joy News indicates that the Executive Secretary of the National Identification Authorit (NIA), Dr William Ahadzi has been asked to proceed on indefinite leave.
Our sources say the Governing Board of the NIA has formally written to Dr Ahadzi to proceed on leave while a committee investigates a petition leveled against him by the acting head of ICT of the NIA, Osei Kwame Griffiths.
The complainant has also been asked to proceed on indefinite leave, our sources say.
In Dr Ahadzi’s absence the board has asked Director of the Administration, Prince Martin Peprah to act as Executive Secretary.
