The Northern Region youth caucus of the New Patriotic Party has extended a congratulatory message to Mustapha Salam on his appointment as Deputy National Youth Organizer of the party.
In a statement issued and signed by Timtooni Progress the youth caucus said Mr. Mustapha Salam is ”a young affable and hardworking man who believes in grass root politics. We believe he is an excellent choice for the job. He is very motivated and committed to seeing the party back to power”.
The statement continued: As a leading youth group in the Northern Region, we wish to pledge our full and unflinching support for our brother and the party. We want to assure the party that we will work tirelessly as a youth group with support of our brother to maximize our party's votes and increase our parliamentary seats in 2016 in the Northern Region and beyond”.
The youth caucus also said the entire Northern Region is grateful to the NPP for always having confidence in them "from Tolon Naa Talli down to late Alhaji Aliu Mahama to Dr. Mahmudu Bawumia, Paul Afoko and now Mustapha Salam."
The group also thanked the party's National Youth Organizer Mr. Sammy Awuku confiding in Mustapha Salam.
“We also wish to thank our flag bearer and his running mate, the National Executive Committee, Members of parliament from the minority and the entire membership of our party for the confidence reposed in our brother”.
