The National Council of Elders of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) will later Monday meet with the five candidates contesting to lead the party to the 2012 elections.

The meeting is expected to centre on the conduct of campaigning and the upcoming presidential primaries.

It is the first time the National Council of Elders is meeting with the aspirants ahead of the party’s August 7 primaries.

Communications Director of the NPP, Mr Kwaku Kwarteng, said the meeting will discuss issues relating to the party’s up-coming congress in August.
