In the wake of another setback over the weekend, Hearts of Oak coach Frank Nuttal is adamant his side can still lift the Premier League title this season.
There is huge concern from fans following their sorry form in the second half of the campaign which has made their chances gloomy. The Phobians have won only two of their six matches – three defeats and a draw.
Their recent 1-0 loss at Bechem United has seen them drop to fourth, seven points behind leaders WAFA, who have a game in hand.
But their Scottish trainer is refusing to give up on winning the title which has eluded Hearts since they last won in 2009.
“We are definitely still in the title race. We still have our fighting spirit and we played well away from home,” he said.
‘’But for an individual mistake who knows what the result would’ve been. So we live to fight another day.”
Their next assignment is at home against Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday before traveling to Kumasi to face arch rivals Asante Kotoko.
