Former Youth and Sports Minister OB Amoah who was arrested Sunday night has been released.
His lawyer Thaddeus Sory confirmed it to Joy News' Evans Mensah a while ago.
He was arrested for his alleged role in the controversial judgement debt controversy in which some 51 million cedis was paid to National Democratic Congress financier, Alfred Woyome.
Mr Amoah, who is also the Member of Parliament for Aburi-Nsawam was released on bail for 20 million cedis with two sureties, Sory added.
"Mr. Fred Oware and the party's [NPP] General secretary signed for him," he indicated.
According to him, his client has been charged with willfully causing financial loss to the state and was interrogated on issues relating to the controversial judgement debt payment to Woyome.
He denied however that his client was also charged with corruption.
Mr Amoah is to report back to the police, Tuesday to assist with investigations.
