Government has assured the 'Occupy Flagstaff House' demonstrators that the content of their petition is receiving the necessary attention.
In a letter addressed to the Concerned Ghanaians for Responsible Governance (CGRG), organizers of the demonstration, the Chief of Staff, Prosper Bani, acknowledged receipt of the group’s petition and thanked them for their interest in the governance process.
‘’I am instructed to assure you that the contents have been well noted and receiving the necessary attention,’’ the letter stated.
But confirming receipt of the response to Citi News, the Executive Secretary of the CGRG, George Kojo Anti said though the response is a good step they are hoping that the concerns will be addressed soon.
Meanwhile the Ministry of Information will hold a special media briefing on Monday to respond to the concerns of the demonstrators.
