General Manager of Asante Kotoko, Opoku Nti has backed management’s decision to ask coach David Duncan to step aside.
According to Nti, the decision comes at a time where changes were necessary at the club.
The Porcupines have picked up five points from a possible 18 and Osei believes the decision was done in the best interest of the club.
“At a point in time, you need to take a decision and I believe the decision made is not in selfish interest,” he told Joy Sports
“It is for the benefit of the team.”
“Whatever it is, you must move on and focus."
"The decision taken I believe will help the club because we needed to act, whatever it is we must move on and I know very soon things will change.”
Michael Osei, who is in charge of the team in the interim, will have his first test against Liberty Professionals.
