Mr Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo, Member of Parliament for Kpone-Katamanso on Friday presented 20 bags of rice valued at 800 Ghana cedis to the Ashaiman-Zenu Muslim Community towards the celebration of the Eid-Ul-Fitr.
He had earlier presented 10 bags of sugar to the community.
Presenting the items, Mr Agbo appealed to the leadership of Muslim communities in Ghana to advise the youth to desist from violence during the celebration.
He urged Muslims to pray for peace in the country.
Alhaji Bello Mohammed, Chief of Zenu Muslim Community expressed appreciation to Mr Agbo for the gesture and assured him that the celebration would be peaceful.
