Pentecostal Youth Conquerors’ of United Pentecostal Church International Ghana (UPCI) Tema Community 8 as part of this year youth week celebration, decided to pay a visit to Akuse Prisons to share the gospel of Christ.
The items include bags of Rice, Maize, Beans, Oil, eggs, personal hygiene products etc., and pray with the male and female inmates.
Overall, this was a charitable effort aimed at providing both spiritual and practical support to those in need.
It demonstrates a commitment to helping others and an understanding of the importance of addressing both spiritual and physical needs.

The Youth Secretary, Emmanuel Ashong Ashiagbor said the donation aimed at positively impacting lives of inmates.
“Sharing the gospel was a crucial part of our visit as we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to hear the good news of Christ, regardless of their circumstances. Through sharing the gospel, we had 13 inmates giving their lives to Christ hallelujah.
“It was very emotional seeing our brothers, Parents, friends being confined at a place where all their freedoms were taking away from them. But indeed our visit brought joy and hope to them knowing that they still have families outside who loves and care for them,” he said.
“I want to use this opportunity to appeal to Families, organizations, churches etc. to visit inmates in our Prisons especially Akuse Prisons and express our love towards them as the good book tell us in Hebrews 13:1-3,” he added.
