The Toyota Matrix vehicle with registration number GX 479-15 carried on the boat belongs to a Magistrate Court judge in the Volta Region.
Residents say the magistrate, like most people, has become helpless and are resorting to this unacceptable means of conveying their vehicles from one point of the Afram River -- in the Afram Plains district of the Eastern Regio -- to another.
Last week, a Man Disel vehicle loaded on a ferry sunk into the same river. One died and 10 others were injured.
