President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has attended an ECOWAS Extraordinary Session in Niamey, Niger, on the political situation in Guinea Bissau.
The meeting was convened on Friday, November 8, 2019, by the Chairman of ECOWAS and President of Niger, Mahamadou Issoufou.
The Heads of states met to ensure Guinea Bissau holds peaceful, credible and transparent elections on November 24, in line with ECOWAS Supplementary Protocol on Democracy and Good Governance of 2001.
