The lifeless body of a man believed to be in his 30s has been found in a storm drain at Kobilmahigu in Tamale in the Northern region.
Iddrisu Mohammed Mustapha, the Assemblyman of the area, believes the man might have drowned during a recent heavy downpour in the metropolis.
He told Adom News that, he received a call from one of the residents in the area that, a lifeless body had been found in a storm drain at the Kobilmahigu Electoral Area.
According to him, he subsequently drew the attention of the chief of the community and the police station to the incident.
Mr Iddrisu said this is not the first time a lifeless body has been found in that same storm drain.
The body has been deposited at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) Morgue for autopsy.
