Heaps of refuse have piled on one of the busy roads at Tema Community One, a suburban stretch in the country nicest port city.
The road linking Casino through Koswe Market has been filled with rubbish.
The filth has covered one lane while vegetable sellers and other traders do business, despite the powerful stench and environmental hazards the situation poses.
The rubbish situation has also compelled both vehicle and pedestrians to compete over space to move.
According to the traders, the waste management company in charge of the place has turned the busy street into a collection point.
This means that for many days, piles of refuse fill the streets.
