The Business Edition of PM Express tonight delved into the economic challenges the country is bedeviled with.
Economic Growth has rebounded strongly from the shocks of COVID-19, hitting 5.3 percent. However, inflation rate for the month of April has hit a record 23.6 percent.
The country’s debts are hitting levels that could destabilise the economy. Are we indeed sitting on a time bomb or something can be done now to save the situation? Or maybe things are just being blown out of proportion?
JoyNews' Business Edition of PM Express in this regard disscussed issues relating to the country's economic challenges and solutions for restoring the economy were proposed.
The guest for the programme was Economist, Dr. Ismael Yamson.
