Some supporters of the People's National Convention (PNC) exchanged blows at the premises of the Fast Track High Court in Accra on Wednesday while waiting for the case in which a member of the executive of Greater Accra Regional Branch has taken the national executive to court.
The fight involving two women and a man began when they started exchanging insults while waiting for the case to be called.
The "kaba" dress of one of the women was torn in the free-for-all fight. A security officer of the judiciary arrested one of the women and the man and placed them in one of the court's cells for 20 minutes.
When they were released the woman with the torn kaba had to cover her back with her headgear before she could leave the court premises.
Mr. Ham Quartey, ex-regional chairman, who allegedly abandoned the party for three years, has taken the national executive court restraining them from holding the National Congress.
The National executives include Dr Edward Mahama, Mr John Ndebugre, Mr Gabriel Pwamang, Mr Robert Baah and Mr Ali Baba.
