Voting to elect a flagbearer has ended at the Convention Peoples’ Party (CPP) national delegates’ congress Saturday at the International Trade Fair Centre in Accra.
Election officials have begun counting ballots to determine who among four presidential hopefuls would win the elections.
Over 2,500 party delegates have been voting late Saturday evening to elect a winnable candidate from a list of four party stalwarts - former party Chair, Samia Nkrumah, former General Secretary, Ivor Greenstreet, Bright Akwetey and Joseph Agyepong – to represent the party during presidential elections in November 2016.
