A group calling itself Concerned Citizens of Bawku West has petitioned President Mills over what it says has been some unjustifiable acts by the District Chief Executive.Imoro Adams is accused of sacking all secretaries and replacing them with NDC sympathisers.Members of the group embarked on a demonstration to register their protest at the weekend.A leading member of the group, Patrick Ayaba said apart from the unlawful, politically motivated dismissals, the DCE also superintended over the use of over a million Ghana cedis for a sister city programme. In his view, that constituted wasteful spending, and therefore necessitates the president’s immediate action. But the DCE, Imoro Adams, said the accusations are false. He suspects his political opponents are behind the group.Source: Joy News/Ghana
