President John Mahama and his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will today, Wednesday hold bilateral meetings at the Flagstaff House.They will also sign some agreements and hold a joint news conference before the Iranian president leaves the shores of the country.President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in Ghana Tuesday with about an 80-member delegation. Mr. Mahama and a team of government officials were at the airport to meet them.Dr. Ahmadinejad, who is also Chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement, is on the last leg of a three-nation African tour.Last night, President Mahama hosted a dinner in his honor. Present were former President Jerry John Rawlings and his wife, former President Kufuor, members of the Council of State as well as Ministers of State.The Iranian President has already visited Benin and Niger.
