President John Mahama has assured that Ghanaian businesses that are thriving and have the potential to employ more people, will be given long term financial support in the next term of the NDC administration.
According to the President, the next NDC administration will also introduce several programs that will create jobs especially for the youth in the country.
Addressing students of All Nations University in Koforidua on Friday as part of his Eastern Regional campaign, President Mahama said this makes it crucial that he is given a chance to rule the country.
He re-emphasized his determination to offer skills training and financial support to young graduates to enable them become entrepreneurs.
Speaking on leadership, the President said the country had reached a stage where a unifier as a leader, was needed to urge the country on.
He said a leader like him can help fast track Ghana’s transition from a lower middle income status to a higher middle income status.
He said: “If I look at the work we have done over the last four years, I feel justified that Ghanaians will give us another term in office”.
