Prudential Life Insurance Ghana has rewarded 30 of its best-performing agents with luxury week-long holidays to Dubai and Malaysia.
The agents received the prizes after making an outstanding contribution to Prudential Ghana’s strong growth over the past year.
The agents were presented with their awards at Prudential’s third annual agency gala and awards ceremony at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.

Prudential rewards more agents with luxury international holidays than any insurance company in Ghana.
A further 20 agents won weekend breaks to the Royal Senchi resort in Akosombo, 31 were presented with vouchers for electronic goods and 12 received certificates acknowledging their outstanding contributions. Godwin Brew from Prudential’s Kumasi branch won best performing agency leader and Mathias Bonyari from Dansoman was named as best agent.
Prudential had only 200 agents in 2014 but their numbers have now quadrupled to more than 800.
Emmanuel Aryee, Chief Executive of Prudential Life Insurance Ghana, said: “The hard work of our agents was a major contributor to Prudential becoming the fifth largest life insurance company in Ghana today. We were only the 11th largest three years ago. Our agents are extremely important to us and we provide a clear career path for them to succeed. I look forward to working with them as Prudential continues to grow and provides customers throughout the country with innovative and high-quality products.”
Mr Brew said, “Prudential is the best place to be if you are pursuing a career as an agent. I am proud of the investment Prudential has made in me and what I have been able to achieve individually and as a member of a team. I look forward to working with my colleagues to make Prudential even more successful.”
Prudential Life Insurance Ghana is one of the top ten life insurance companies in Ghana. It employs around 80 staff, more than 800 agents and has more than 1.3 million customers.
It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Prudential plc.
