Ghana international Kwame Quansah is to undergo surgery after aggravating a knee injury in last week's Eredivisie match against Sparta Rotterdam.

The Heracles Almelo midfielder limped off the pitch in their 2-1 home success on the hour mark.
It is unknown how long he will remain on the sidelines as he his fixed to be operated on 24 December.
Quansah has made six league appearances for the Almelo side this season due to the injury.
