Ghana's national female team, the Black Queens, exited the Africa Women Championship in Equatorial Guniea despite a 3-2 success over Tunisia on Saturday.
The Queens amassed four points from the available nine in Group B and placed third, one short of the qualification mark.
The Super Falcons of Nigeria were the stumbling blocks to the Queens after they accounted for leaders South Africa 1-0.
