Ghanaian artiste Lokal Shock is the latest rapper to take a foray into singing.
The Fante rapper has released a new song titled ‘Enemy’ to prove his versatility as a musician.
The song talks about how people mar beautiful relationships with fake love. It accentuates how some people scheme to harm their friends, a situation that leads him to question the true state of their love.
Lokal, who is from Saltpond in the Centra Region of Ghana, has an infectious style of rap, an attribute which has earned him a lot of following and admirers.
Asked why he decided to do only singing on 'Enemy', he said he believes he is multitalented so he does not want to limit his craft.
Lokal Shock adds on to the number of Ghanaian rappers who have found love in singing. Amerado, King Paluta, Lyrical Joe, Joey B are some example from the new generation. From the older generation are Prince Bright of Bukbak, Obrafuor, Obour, and Okomfour Kwadee.
The song was produced by Master Jedi, mixed and mastered by Joe Beatz.
