Relatives of a middle aged man allegedly shot by an ex-convict in Nakpanduri in the Northern region are appealing to police for justice to be dispensed to them.
The deceased, Jingong Kombian Tanko, was reportedly shot by Bargian Awudu in Nankpanduri.
The latter was released from prison in 2010 after serving a jail term for several robberies in the area.
Konmong Alhassan, a relative of the deceased, narrated to Joy News “a brother…told me that my cousin, Kombian Jingong Tanko has been shot by Bargian Awudu with a pistol… I met [another] brother [of mine] who told me that,” they have sent the body to the hospital.
Konmong Alhassan called on the Nankpanduri Police Commander to ensure the family gets justice for the incident that has befallen them.
“My brother has been shot and we want the police to get to the bottom of the matter and … bring [the culprit] to book,” he appealed.
