Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has asked Sarkodie to ease up on his fans after the rapper called out some of them for selling and wearing fake shoes.
According to Shatta Wale, not everyone has the financial abilities to afford expensive products from renowned fashion brands.
The 'Melissa' hitmaker revealed that before he became wealthy, at some point in his life, he also had to wear some of these fake outfits.
“Ah Broda sark paa, you deh watch ghana economy deh talk like this…Maybe Yes, God has been good to us but not everyone is like us. You get me lol. I beg, relax give street boys cuz you no deh street, ground hot ruff (sic),” Shatta Wale wrote on Twitter.

This comes after Sarkodie, on Thursday, tweeted a post that showed one @EphraimKwao selling Air Jordan 4 Retro Black Cat 2020 sneakers for GH¢300 when the original price is $1,068.
Suggesting that the sneaker being sold is not authentic, Sarkodie told @EphraimKwao, “Bruh don’t do that.”

But, reacting to Sarkodie’s post, some fans noted they have no other option than to go for the “Banku” sneakers as they cannot afford the sneakers that are worth millions of Ghana cedis and thousands of dollars.
They argued that not all Ghanaians have the wealth the rapper has been able to amass, therefore, will go for the inferior kinds.
This put Sarkodie and Banku on Twitter trends on Thursday, February 10.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale said that even though people can wear fake clothing brands, they must live life truthfully.
“Life is original, material things will always be fake ..Don’t follow the world follow God bro,” he wrote.
