Misconduct against Mr. Abu Nurudeen, Chief Executive Officer, and Supporters of Real Tamale United (RTU) in connection with their Glo Premier League match with Aduana Stars at Tamale on 21st October, 2012.
FINDINGS
From the evidence above, the Disciplinary Committee finds both RTU and its CEO guilty as charged.
DECISION:
On the basis of the above findings, the Committee decides as follows:
a) Mr. Abu Nurudeen, CEO of RTU is given a 4 month ban from all GFA approved activities in line with GFA Regulation 39(1) (a).
b) RTU is banned from its Home Venue for Six (6) Matches and additionally, fined GH¢5,000.00 for its supporters’ assault and battery on Assistant Referee 1 Kofi Asare as per GFA regulation 39(7) (b).
c) Again, RTU is fined GH¢5000.00 for indulging in acts which have the effect of putting the game of football into disrepute, as demonstrated by the unwholesome behavior of its supporters. (GFA Regulation 39(7) (a).)
d) The Club is to bear the medical bills of Assistant Referee 1 Kofi Asare totaling GH¢ 155.00.
