Owner and bank-roller of premier league side King Faisal Football Club, Alhaji Karim Gruzah has confirmed the appointment of Prince “Sabuto” Acheampong as interim head coach of the club until the end of the season pending the arrival of substantive manager Mallam Yahaya.
Gruzah told Joy Sports “we endorse Sabuto to be head coach until Mallam Yahaya comes back.”
Mallam Yahaya “has left his family abroad, so he is only going to see them and come back”, Alhaji Gruzah added.
Two coaches will act as assistants to the interim head coach, according to the president of the club.
“Samuel Owusu should be the first assistant so that the second team coach, Wazina Wajib will join them”.
King Faisal currently lie ninth on the league table with twenty seven points from twenty games.
