A pastor has said bribery and corruption could be eradicated if people sacrificed to ensure national development.
Pastor Emmanuel Amoako, the Mankranso District Pastor of the SDA church, said there was the need for Ghanaians to exercise restraint in their quest for wealth and selfishness that often dragged them to engage in corrupt practices.
He was delivering his maiden sermon on Saturday at the Mankranso local church in the Ahafo Ano South District after his transfer from Sefwi-Akontombra in the Western Region.
He said backbiting, stealing, robbery, nepotism and favouritism at work places could collapse organizations, institutions and the society at large and urged the people to be lovers of their country and sacrifice to ensure speedy development of the nation.
